This Yearbook consists of five parts: main articles, legislative reviews, diplomatic practice, book reviews, and Indonesia’s ratification of international agreements. The main articles in this edition have a wide range of focus, emphasising how Indonesia tried to implement and observe international rules within its domestic systems. The discussion areas are the issues of airspace laws, the protection of refugees in Indonesia, the protection of the natural resources within Indonesian archipelagic sea lanes, Indonesia’s legal means to ratification of international agreements, cross border trade between Indonesia and Malaysia, and the role of demographic bonus in Indonesia as a benefit to the ASEAN Economic Community. The legislative reviews focus on analysing Indonesia’s regulations that illustrate her international commitments and obligations. This edition focuses on two areas: health quarantine and ocean affairs. To find out Indonesia’s practice toward the development of international law, this Yearbook presents two analyses of Indonesian diplomacy in space commerce commercialisation and the facilitation of crew changes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Book review sections offer two reviews on international issues that Indonesian scholars have written. The topics are maritime issues and the introduction to international law. The last part of this Yearbook presents a list of international agreements Indonesia ratified in the year 2020
